Ellesmere Port & Neston Police Neighbourhood Crime update - 6 to 14 April 2024


Please note this is not a complete list of all incidents reported during this period - it is purely for the information of local residents to make them aware of incidents that have taken place within their area.

Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:

 

ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Somerville Close – Entry gained into occupied property via insecure rear door.  Offender/s have taken key to Vauxhall Astra, parked on rear driveway and removed and taken trainers, small quantity of cash, ID lanyard and Tesco Clubcard from the vehicle.
  • Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:

     

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Rossmore
  • Dock Street – Petrol mower and petrol strimmer taken from shed by a male using a vehicle. – Named suspect.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Bendee Avenue – Bolt cut off garage door and Cannondale Trail 7 mountain bike taken. – This has possibly been carried out at the same time / by the same offender/s as the burg/theft from motor vehicle in the last bulletin.

    Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Croft Court – Brick thrown through bedroom window.
  • Princes Road – Window smashed.
  • Rossmore
  • Jacks Woods Avenue – Hole made in shed roof from unknown person climbing over it.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mellock Lane – Glass in sliding porch door completely shattered by thrown stones.
  • Sutton
  • Pensby Drive – Window of property smashed.

    Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Somerville Close – Entry gained into occupied property via insecure rear door.  Offender/s have taken key to Vauxhall Astra, parked on rear driveway and removed and taken trainers, small quantity of cash, ID lanyard and Tesco Clubcard from the vehicle.
  • Mercer Walk – IPhone 12 taken after being left on bench in arcade.
  • Wellington Road – Bike (no further details), left outside main double door to ‘The Portal’ taken.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Sutton
  • Grappenhall Road – Parcel taken from outside address.
  • Knowle Close – Quantity of metal on driveway of property taken by unknown male in a vehicle.

    Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:
     

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Highfield Road North – Toyota Aygo, parked in residential road has front and rear registration plates, showing LL64 HFH taken.
  • Whitby
  • Longlooms Road East - New Porsche 911, parked on forecourt of ‘Porsche Centre’ has two lights removed and left hanging on the sides, as it is believed the offender/s have been disturbed.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Somerville Close – Secure Vauxhall Astra, parked on rear driveway entered after offender/s have taken key from kitchen. Trainers, small quantity of cash, ID lanyard and Tesco Clubcard from the vehicle.
  • Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
     
    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Flint Court – Vauxhall Zafira has wheel arches damaged. 
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • St. Pauls
  • Alvanley Road – Brick from wall post of ‘Sutton Beeches’ boundary wall thrown through window of Vauxhall Astra by two unknown males.  Damage also caused to vehicle door.
  • Sutton
  • Old Chester Road – Whilst stopped at road junction in MG ZS an unknown male, wearing a balaclava riding an e-bike pulled up next to car, on passenger side and kicked the door, leaving dints in both the front and rear door.
  • If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
