Anti-Social Behaviour 

  • Reports of a person playing knock a door run at an address in Hartford stills have been supplied of a suspect enquires are currently ongoing.
  • Unknown individuals throwing a rock at vehicles which has hit a passing car – no further lines of enquiry currently.
  • A Male dressed in black driving a motor bike on the footpath and driving in a general anti-social manner.
  • Anti-Social Behaviour at Number of Address in Hartford Response have attended, and housing have been informed of the incidents in question.
  •  

    Criminal Damage 

    No Reports of Criminal Damage in the area.

     

    Suspicious Person/Vehicle

  • Reports of an unknown Male on resident’s driveway and then running away from the address – Patrols have been stepped up in area to give reassurance.
  • Reports of an unknown male and female looking inside and taking pictures of a motor home. PCSO Donnelly spoke to the RP over the phone and advised certain safeguarding measures which the RP had already started implementing.

    Theft

  • Theft of items worth £22 from the CO-OP enquires are currently ongoing.
  • Parking Concerns

     

  • Parking Concerns on Riddings Lane / Needham Drive /Abby Lane behind Hartford Primary – PCSO will give passing attention and tickets will be issued to any drivers committing offences 1 Police Advisory Ticket issued for blocking a junction. 
  • Parking Concerns on Firdale road at the weekend with regards to Football being played at the weekend at Moss Farm and attention will be given to the area at the weekend 1 Vehicle has been given a Police Advisory ticket for parking too close to a junction.
  • Parking Concerns on School Lane/King Street I have spoken to the business about trying to relief some of the pressure around the junction. 
  • Parking Concerns on Stone Mannor Lane will be given to the area for the foreseeable future. 
  • Parking Concerns on Hazelmere Close and Carriage Drive, 2 Vehicles has been given Police Advisory notice for parking on the junction of Hazelmere Close and Carriage drive if problems continue, they will be issued with a fixed penalty notice.

    Burglary

    An Attempt burglary where a premise was broken into, but nothing was taken - Police attended and gave reassurance for residents and delivered home security leaflets to residents.

     

    Vehicle/Bicycle Theft 

    No Reports of Bicycle or Vehicle Thefts Currently in the Hartford and Greenbank area.

     

    Crime Prevention Talk

    We are planning a crime prevention talk at Hartford Village Hall on the 17/04/24 at 17:00pm to discuss a wide range of crime preventative measures anyone is welcome to attend and should last 30/40 minutes.

     

     

    Speed enforcement in Hartford 

    22/03/24 Speed Enforcement on Chester Road 3 Offences recorded.

    11/03/24 Speed Enforcement on Hodge Lane 2 Offences Captured.

    19/03/24 Speed Enforcement on School Lane 4 Offences Captured.

    09/03/24 Speed Enforcement on Chester Road 12 Offences Captured

     

    Community Speed Watch

    Two Session have taken place on Hodge Lane with several Warning Letters sent out to Drivers to remind them of their speed.

     

    School Visits

    ST Wilfred’s to talk about how to stay safe Online due to take place this term. 

    Hartford Nursery to talk about road safety and the Green Cross Code.

    Cloughwood Academy Careers evening to give advice to students and teachers about a job in the police.

     

    Police Surgery’s for Hartford/Greenbank

     

    Wednesday the 17/04/2024 at 17:00pm Hartford Village Hall to discuss any issues.

    Wednesday the 10/04/2024 at 10:00am Greenbank Community Hub to discuss any issues.

     

    Additional action to be taken in Hartford throughout the month.
