 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property: ELLESMERE PORT WEST • Neston • Ringway – Unknown offender, dressed all in black attempted to open ground floor window. Dog has started barking and person has fled. • Willaston and Thornton • Benty Heath Lane – Entry gained into rear garden of property from the fields to the rear. Entry into the property has been gained but breaking a section of glass in the window, allowing the lock to be force open. Untidy search carried out, leaving cupboards and drawers open but unsure of any items taken at this time. Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS: ELLESMERE PORT WEST • Neston • Unknown offender entered rear garden and runs off having been disturbed by homeowner turning on kitchen light. Homeowner has gone out into the rear garden and found a crowbar and damage to wash house. No entry gained.
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles: ELLESMERE PORT EAST • Ellesmere Port Town • Stoke Gardens - Unknown person has set fire to 3 bins at residential property. This has spread to the neighbouring fence. • Cambridge Road – Entry gained into communal area of flats. Front door to one of the properties repeatedly kicked causing the door to crack. ELLESMERE PORT WEST • Sutton • Hope Farm Road – Brick thrown through the window of ‘The Straw Hat’ public house. • Grange • The Boulevard – Brick thrown through front window by unknown male.
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft: ELLESMERE PORT EAST • Ellesmere Port Town • Civic Way – Bike left within lobby area of Ellesmere Port library taken by unknown person. – No further details of bike.
 Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles: ELLESMERE PORT WEST • Sutton • Talbot Road – Grey Nissan Nivara YD66 VDE taken from outside property by unknown means. Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:
ELLESMERE PORT EAST • Ellesmere Port Town • Girton Road – Secured, unattended Vauxhall Astra taxi has drivers side window smashed by an unknown person, wearing a balaclava on a bike. The person has then stolen money from within the vehicle before riding off. • Cambridge Road – Insecure Vauxhall Insignia taxi entered and purse, containing receipts and cash taken. ELLESMERE PORT WEST • Neston • Raby Road – Both registration plates, showing DK67 YUF removed and taken from a Mazda 2. Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
ELLESMERE PORT EAST • Ellesmere Port Town • Flint Court – Vauxhall Zafira, whilst parked at the roadside has tyres slashed by unknown offender. • Rossmore • Church Street – VW Tiguan scratched along the length of the vehicle. ELLESMERE PORT WEST • Neston • Mayfield Gardens – Several vehicles damage by male offender who has since been arrested and charged: o Brick thrown through the rear windscreen of unattended vehicle (no vehicle details provided). o VW Golf has wing mirror kicked off. o Peugeot Boxer van has wing mirror damaged. o BMW 118i M Sport has wing mirror pulled off. o Renault Capture has rear windscreen smashed. o Ford Fiesta has passenger wing mirror kicked off. o Citroen C1 has wing mirror smashed off. o Ford Fiesta has wing mirror kicked off. • Churchill Way – VW Transporter has wing mirror kicked off. – Same male offender as above. Arrested and charged. • Parkgate • The Priory – Mini, parked at roadside found with damage to the drivers side wingmirror which has resulted in the glass getting smashed and falling out of it. • Netherpool • Hillside Drive – Mercedes C class, parked at roadside has rear windscreen wiper pulled off and nearside tyre slashed. • Rivacre Brow - BMW X5 found with scratched to the body work on the drivers side and the rear tyres deflated.
