Anti-Social Behaviour 

  • Reports of a group of males smoking and drinking outside a school – response officers attended, and all males were stop searched and were given a community resolution for cannabis possession. 

  • Reports of a male riding a Scrambler Bike ridden on Saxons Lane Park – Patrols will be stepped up in the area to tackle the issue and work with partner agencies. 

  • Suspicious Person/Vehicle

  • Reports of a couple going into an independent living accommodation trying apartment doors in the block of flats – PCSO Donnelly has linked in with the manger that runs the apartment bloc and is offering crime prevention advice with our crime prevention officer to residents and enquires are ongoing about the suspicious couple.
  • A Suspicious vehicle has been parked blocking a footpath enquires are ongoing due to the vehicle possibly being on private land.
  • Reports of a male acting suspicious on the reporting person property upon further investigation and reviewing CCTV footage it was a milkman who attended the wrong address.

    Theft

  • Theft of items worth £50 from Sainsburys in Hartford enquires are ongoing at this moment in time.

  • Theft of Items from the CO-OP in Hartford a suspect has been identified and enquires are ongoing at this time.

  • Theft of £100 from a debit card enquires are ongoing currently.

    Parking Concerns

     

  • Parking Concerns on Riddings Lane / Needham Drive /Abby Lane behind Hartford Primary – PCSO will give passing attention and tickets will be issued to any drivers. 
  • Parking Concerns on School Lane/King Street passing attention will be given to the area at this time working with CWAC and local businesses and residents to find a longer-term solution.
  • Parking Concerns on Stone Mannor Lane will be given to the area for the foreseeable future. 
  • Parking Concerns on Hazelmere Close and Carriage Drive. Patrols will continue around school pick up and drop off times Two vehicles were issued with an advisory ticket on Carridge drive due to causing an obstruction.
  • Parking Concerns on Clough Lane in Greenbank patrols will continue at the location due to concerns about parking in the area.

    Burglary

  • Report of a shed bieng broken into on further investigation this seems to be an issue between an ex-tenant and a landlord further enquires are ongoing at this time.

  • Reports of a house a house being ransacked response attended the location and spoke to the RP enquires are ongoing at this time.

  •  

    Criminal Damage

  •  Criminal Damage to a vehicle where a trye has been slashed unfortunately no lines of enquiry at this time.

  • Criminal Damage to a post box Response Officers attended and the suspect was identified from the reporting persons description and arrested.

  • Reports of a male gaining access to an outbuilding in a garden and damaging a window panel officers attended but at this time no further lines of enquiry at this time.

  • Reports that a number of flowers have been set alight enquires are on going at this time

  • Criminal Damage to a car where the windscreen has been smashed enquires are ongoing at this time. 

  • Speed enforcement in Hartford.

    Community Speed Watch

    No Sessions this past month.

    School Visits

  • The Hartford Mini Police have been out on patrol around Hartford Primary speaking to parents about parking in the local area and giving good and bad tickets to drivers.

  • PCSO Donnelly has attended Cloughwood Academy to attend their careers day speaking to parents and pupils. 

  •  

     

    Police Surgery’s for Hartford/Greenbank

     

    Wednesday 21/05/2025 at 17:00pm Hartford Village Hall to discuss any issues.

    Wednesday the 14/05/2025 at 10:00am Greenbank Community Hub to discuss any issues.

     

    Additional action that has been taken in Hartford throughout the month.

    PCSO Donnelly has attended Hartford’s last Parish Council Meeting to discuss any issues in the local community and a meeting with the CWAC local councillors in the Hartford and Greenbank area to discuss ongoing issues in the community.

    Last month the community Cohesion group was Held in Hartford.
