One of Dan's main responsibilities as Police and Crime Commissioner is to hold the Chief Constable to account, and ensure the public of Cheshire get an efficient and effective police service.

Members of the public are invited to watch the public scrutiny meetings. For those who are unable to attend, recordings are also made for people to refer to in their own time. 

On Tuesday 24th June 2025, Dan Price, Cheshire Police and Crime Commissioner's public scrutiny meeting, focused on the way Cheshire Constabulary interacts with victims of crime.
