Theft of Tent boxes

Please be aware : 

There has been an increase in the theft of rooftop tent boxes within the Cheshire area. 

This has involved the removing of boxes or rails from vehicles then making off. 

Thieves have either unscrewed the tent boxes or have unscrewed the roof rails themselves.

If you have a tent box on your vehicle, we recommend that you add an alarm to it, consider hiding an air tag inside, mark the tent box with your postcode, and where possible use security anti-tamper bolts to secure it. 

Try and park your vehicle in a well lit area - and remove when not in use.
