Ellesmere Port & Neston Police Neighbourhood Crime update - 23 June to 6 July 2025

Please note this is not a complete list of all incidents reported during this period - it is purely for the information of local residents to make them aware of incidents that have taken place within their area.

If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.

  

 

Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:

 

ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Lancaster Gardens – Entry gained into property by pulling the window off its hinges. Damage caused to oven and couch.      Unable to tell if anything has been stolen.
  • Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:

     

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Rossmore
  • South Pier Road - Entry gained into ‘Telfords Quay’ communal hall area of flats via insecure door. Entry has then been forced into a communal storage area by removing a padlock.  Toolbox taken. 
  • Ilkeston Way – Entry gained into rear garden of property and toolbox taken from shed and bike (no further details) from against wall of property. – Bike recovered.  Enquiries ongoing.

    Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Rossmore
  • Jacks Woods Avenue – Mini off-road motorbike deliberately set alight and burnt out.
  • John Nicholas Crescent – Brick thrown through window by two unknown youths on a moped.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Talbot Avenue – Front door to property kicked by members of a passing group of males causing the casing to pop out.
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – Extensive damage caused to an internal fire door, within Deeside Court by an unknown person.

    Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cromwell Road – Blue Carrera Mountain bike taken from outside The Pacific Building by unknown means.
  • Strawberry
  • Northbury Road – Radiator, left taken from garden whilst works being carried out at the property.

    Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

     

    ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Green Lane – During the hours of darkness a local resident reported witnessing an unknown male walking up and down the road trying the door handles of vehicles. – Male arrested for vehicle interference.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Heath Lane – Insecure delivery van, to the rear of ‘Jerry Burgers & Desserts’ entered via side door and a bag within looked through.      Wallet removed, before male offender walked back along the road in the direction of Chester Road. – Named suspect.
  • Netherpool
  • Netherpool Road – Entry gained into Land Rover Ranger Rover HSE by unknown means. Bag taken from boot,
  • Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
     
    ELLESMERE PORT EAST  

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – Incidents reported during time frame of this bulletin:
    • Door to Mercedes GLA200 scratched by another vehicle door which has been opened into it.  Despite the owner trying to get the attention of the other driver they have walked away.
    • Bonnet of BMW 118i Sport hit with an object which has caused and imprint and creasing.
  • Strawberry
  • Silverbirch Way – Honda Civic has tyre slashed by unknown means.
  • ELLESMERE PORT WEST  

  • Netherpool
  • Huxley Court – Rear windscreen smashed with a plant pot and wing mirror and wipers damaged on a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.
  • Seymour Drive – Unknown males use a hammer to smash the Ring doorbell at a property before smashing the rear offside window and rear windscreen on a Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.
