School Parking Patrol – Weaverham & Cuddington Ward - I visited Weaverham Primary Academy and St Bede’s Catholic Primary School this wee to carry out a school parking patrol. Engagement was made with drivers regarding: • Parking on footpaths – no obstruction witnessed as pedestrian access remained clear • Parking within 10 metres of junctions • Parking on zig zags Both schools will be sharing updates in their newsletters to help raise awareness and promote safe parking around school sites. Thank you to all parents and carers for your cooperation and continued support!
Street a Week – Hall View Close This this, I have been engaging with residents on Hall View Close as part of our Street a Week initiative. We discussed community issues, concerns, and ways to make our neighbourhood even better. If you want your street to be next, please email me Michelle.Gillett@cheshire.police.uk to nominate your street for future visits! Afternoon Patrol Update – ASB Report Response Following a report of anti-social behaviour involving motorbikes on farmland within our ward, I conducted a patrol this around Walnut Avenue, Poplar Road, Gorstage Lane, and Weaverham Road. I’ve spoken with local farmers who confirmed that no permission is granted for motor access to their land. Please respect private property and avoid entering farmland with vehicles. During the patrol, I also came across fly tipping in a cereal field. This waste needs to be removed urgently as the farmer will be in this field next week sowing winter cereal seeds (wheat/barley). If you have any information about the motorbike activity or fly tipping, please get in touch via Michelle.Gillett@cheshire.police.uk
You said, we did... Parking patrols have been conducted across our ward, specifically on Fern Way and Morris Drive this month. Please avoid parking in a way that obstructs junctions or footpaths, especially where it prevents pedestrian access or visibility within 10 metres of a junction. Fixed Penalty Notices will be issued for any obstruction witnessed that compromises pedestrian safety or visibility. Thank you for your cooperation, further patrols will be conducted this month.

Not even the wet weather this week could dampen community spirit! Thank you to the kind member of the public who gifted flowers as a gesture of appreciation for support and community engagement. Your thoughtfulness truly brightened my day!
This morning, I carried out a parking patrol before and after the service at St Bede’s Catholic Church It was lovely to engage with the faith community and see everyone. Thank you to all who parked considerately and made the morning run smoothly! You said, we did … speed monitoring took place today on DELAMERE PARK estate, the highest recorded speed being 19 mph. Further monitoring will take place throughout this month.
