                 A Reminder About Kindness and Respect in Our Community |
        ||

                 Dear Huntington Residents,
 I hope you’re keeping well.
 I wanted to get in touch about an issue that’s been brought to my attention. Many of you will remember that back in November last year, two cats were injured on the Saighton Camp estate. Understandably, this caused a lot of concern and upset. Following a police investigation, the matter was closed with no suspects formally identified and no further action taken.
 Since then, it seems that some children have continued to make unkind remarks towards two local boys who were mentioned at the time. I’d like to gently remind everyone that the police investigation has been completed, and it’s important that we move forward as a community.
 Ongoing name calling or hurtful jokes are not acceptable and could lead to acceptable behaviour discussions with those involved. If this behaviour continues, it may also be treated as harassment.
 Please take a moment to speak with your children about being kind and respectful to others. We all want Huntington to be a place where everyone feels safe and supported.
 Thank you for your understanding and for helping to keep our community a positive place to live.
 Kind regards,
 PC 31055 Chris McCue Beat Manager - Huntington and Great Boughton | ||
