Officers will soon be supporting Operation Jingles. This is Cheshire Police's annual Christmas-time operation to target criminal activity and ensure public safety during the festive period.
It involves high-visibility patrols in retail areas and a focus on crimes like anti-social behaviour, domestic abuse, shoplifting, drink/drug driving, and burglary.
High-visibility patrols in shopping areas & town centres. Proactive policing to tackle anti-social behaviour. Targeting of crime, such as shoplifting and drink/drug driving. Working with partner agencies to promote safety.
During this busy period, we want to remind members of the public how to contact Cheshire Police should they need to.
Only dial 999 in an emergency. Report non emergency by calling 101 or going on the Cheshire Police Website. Messages can be sent / replied to via Cheshire Alerts / Facebook, however please note that this is not monitored 24/7 and is not a formal way of reporting an incident.
