PARKING - ELECTRA WAY CREWE

Good morning, 

Today we were called to attend to Electra Way in Crewe due to obstructive parking. On arrival numerous vehicles were causing an unnecessary obstruction to the junction off the University roundabout.

We met with a Cheshire East Parking Enforcement Officer who has reassured us that in the next couple of weeks, the double yellow lines will be re-painted so that there is no excuses as to whether anyone can park there or not.

The vehicles today were right off the turning from the roundabout, and it would have been extremely difficult for an emergency vehicle like a Fire Engine to pass through also.

Regardless of whether there are any double yellows line or not, you must not park within 10 meters of the junction, this makes it dangerous for other drivers to safely enter or leave the junction.

Numerous tickets have been issued today. Photo's have been taken of the offences by Officers that attended.
