Week 17 Newsletter – Weaver & Cuddington Beat
Partnership Working – WVHT I met with WVHT housing officers for Cuddington and Weaverham to carry out joint home visits within our community. Partnership working is so important and this week really highlighted how working together enables us to better support residents and make a positive difference. Street a Week – Gerrard Drive, Weaverham You said, we did Following resident voice feedback relating to Gerrard Drive, a WVHT housing officer and I carried out door‑to‑door engagement to better understand the community’s concerns. The main issue raised was parking I have since contacted Weaverham Trust to assist with clearing the area, helping to improve the environment for residents. Weaverham Primary Academy – Mini Police Activity This afternoon, the Mini Police took part in a litter‑picking activity around the perimeter of their school grounds A fun, hands‑on and valuable activity, made even better by the lovely spring weather Super proud of you all Proud Moment – Weaverham Primary Academy Mini Police Last night, the Weaverham Primary Academy Mini Police were proudly awarded the High Sheriff of Cheshire Award, in recognition of their great and valuable service to the community. The award was presented at a Cheshire Constabulary HQ event, attended by the Chief Constable and LPU Chief Inspectors, making the recognition even more special. Throughout the programme, the Mini Police have taken part in a wide range of activities, including: Road safety education – practical and theory sessions covering speeding and parking The programme was made even more memorable with special guests PD Honey and Roads Policing Officers, who helped celebrate the children’s commitment and achievements. Well done to every single Mini Police officer — you should be incredibly proud of yourselves.
