FREE Summer Initiative 2026 | Hartford Golf Club Following an ASB incident in summer 2025, where children were found playing golf without access to safe or affordable facilities within the Weaver & Cuddington ward, funding was applied for to support families facing similar challenges.
I’m really pleased to share that CRIMEBEAT has funded our United Neighbourhood Summer Initiative 2026
This initiative will give children aged 2–18 years the opportunity to enjoy fun, healthy outdoor activities in a safe and supervised environment, while also helping to reduce ASB across our communities.
Activities include: Padel Mini Golf
These sessions are open to children across Winsford & Northwich, promoting positive choices, community spirit, and safe summer activities
Transport options: Children over 135cm – Transport available to/from Northwich Police Station (must be signed in and out by a responsible adult). Interested? Please email: andy.ward@cheshire.police.uk As I will no longer be available to support this initiative going forward, PC Andy Ward will be managing registrations and communication.
Please include: Parent/Guardian name
All details will be kept confidential and added to a secure list. PC Andy Ward will be in touch closer to the summer holidays with further information. Let’s make Summer 2026 safe, fun and inclusive for everyone Mini Police First Aid Session

You should all be very proud! British Science Week – Weaverham Primary Academy
As part of British Science Week, Weaverham Primary Academy invited me to take on the role of the arresting officer in a whole‑school investigation.
The big question… who stole the cake? Throughout the week, pupils became investigators, examining:
Footprints (size comparison)
This brilliant forensic science activity combined science and maths through:
An excellent example of learning that is both challenging and fun To find out who the culprit was, visit the school website! Well done to everyone involved – I absolutely loved being part of this activity. Cuddington & Sandiway Youth Group
This week I attended the Cuddington and Sandiway Youth Group and spent time engaging with our younger community I was genuinely surprised and so touched by the kindness shown. Thank you all so much for the thoughtful gift and the beautiful cards – they meant more to me than you’ll ever know and truly made my evening PCSO Michelle
