Burglary Alert

 Cheshire Police are investigating a burglary from an outbuilding in the Marbury area, where items were taken after offenders targeted the outbuildings . Sheds and garages  are often seen as an easy target, particularly overnight and in darker areas.

Please take a moment to review the following crime prevention advice to help keep your property secure:

🔒 Secure your outbuildings – Use strong, good‑quality locks and consider a hasp and staple with a close‑shackle padlock.
💡Improve lighting – Motion‑sensor lighting can deter opportunistic offenders.
🛠 Mark your property – Tools, bikes and equipment should be property‑marked and registered where possible.
📦Keep valuables out of sight – Don’t leave high‑value items on display through windows or open doors.
📹Consider CCTV or alarms – Even visible signage can act as a deterrent.
👀Be a good neighbour – Report any suspicious activity immediately and look out for one another.
