Monthly Update for April 2026 Anti-Social Behaviour Report of unknown persons kicking the front door of a residential property. No CCTV or witnesses.Report of an off-road bike razzing up and down Royle Street. Bike had left prior to patrols attending.Two reports of children riding electric scooters up and down Mayfield Road.Report of flags being put up again along Shipbrook Road, following being removing by the Local Authority. This has been reported to CWAC.Report of youths playing football in the street on Belmont Road, causing vehicles to brake sharply and ball constantly hitting the bus shelter, no damage reported.Drugs Warrant executed on Fidden Avenue, suspect arrested for possession with the intent to supply. Investigation is ongoing.Report of a vehicle on false plates on Edward Street. Investigations confirm this and the vehicle was notified off road. Vehicle was seized for no tax.Burglary Report of a male trying to gain entry into a residential property on Carlton Road, the male was arrested and has been charged.Theft Report of a theft of cable from a construction site on Griffiths Road. Investigation is ongoing.Report of a theft of a Ring Door Bell, an unknown male suspect has walked up to the front door and removed it and walked away.Report of a theft of a van on Royle Street, van taken overnight without the keys. Road Safety Vehicle stop check on King Street, the driver provided a positive breath test and was arrested.Vehicle stop check on A556, enquiries establish the driver only held a provisional licence and the vehicle wasn’t insured. Vehicle seized and the driver reported.Speed Enforcement conducted on Griffiths Road, no offences were captured whilst at the location.Concerns raised about speeding on Middlewich Road within the 20mph limit, Agecroft Road, Gadbrook Road and Shipbrook Road. These are being added to the speed management programme and speed assessment surveys have been requested as part of this process. Parking/highway Obstructions Report of vehicles obstructing the footpath on James Street. Regular patrols and appropriate action taken when necessary.Report of vehicles parking on grass verges and obstructing the footpath on Middlewich Road. Regular patrols and no offences have been observed.Weekly Police Surgeries Friday 22nd May, at Costa Coffee, Cheshire Avenue, Lostock Gralam between 6pm – 7pm. Wednesday 27th May, at The Venue, Gadbrook Road, Rudheath between 3pm – 4pm. Saturday 6th June, at Costa Coffee, Cheshire Avenue, Lostock Gralam between 10am – 11am.
