We have been into Waitrose Sandbach with our knife surrender bin as part of the National week of action to tackle knife - enabled crime.

It is important to remember that only 1% of the UK population carry knives.
The bin is a reminder to talk to our young people about the importance of not carrying a knife.

The bin gives us an opportunity to dispose of unwanted knives and to stop them falling into the wrong hands.
