What is a courier scam? This is when criminals pretend to be from a trusted, like your bank or the police, and send a courier to collect your money, cards, PIN or valuables. They might claim there is an investigation involving your account and use secrecy or pressure to make the request feel genuine. If you receive an unexpected phone call from someone claiming to be your bank, hang up and Take Five. A genuine organisation won’t mind if you call them back.
