OPERATION SCEPTRE | During November, Cheshire Constabulary will be supporting a national campaign aimed at keeping knives off the streets by directly targeting knife carriers as well as educating young people about the dangers and impact of choosing to carry a blade.
Please note, that Knutsford Police Station helpdesk is not staffed or open to the public day to day. If you wish to go to a station with a helpdesk open regulary to the public then please visit Macclesfield Police Station.
The amnesty gives members of the public the chance to dispose of a knife anonymously with no questions asked, by simply depositing it into the amnesty bin with the support of officers. Those surrendering knives are not required to give any personal details.
