Halloween and Bonfire Night

With these two seasonal events fast approaching, I wanted to let you know that I have visited all the local primary schools to conduct a presentation on how to stay safe if participating in these events. 

This period can be particularly busy for emergency services and I ask parents to do their it in talking to their children about the dangers of fireworks and wondering off alone in the dark. Please could you also take a moment to discuss with them the impact anti-social behaviour can have on our community, especially those of us who are vulnerable. 

Leaflets have been dropped off to community centres like the ones attached for anyone who would like them and local shops have also had visits from the Police asking them not to sell eggs and flour to children.
