PC / PCSO Update
Following ongoing complaints our priorities this month have remained around Moss Farm and Saxon’s Lane, although I am pleased to report, following door to door enquiries, it does seem to be improving. Officers will be continuing to patrol the areas and gather further information and intelligence.
Speed enforcement has been carried out on School Lane, Chester Road and Hodge Lane. 21 Offences have been captured and sent to the central ticket office. Monitoring has also taken place on Stones Manor Lane. Please note that the speed has now changed at the top of Chester Road, from national speed limit to 40mph.
With schools returning in September we have been working closely with staff around parking issues. We are aware there are a number of schools in the local proximity and therefore ask parents and local drivers to drive safely and park considerately. We will continue to do regular patrols around drop off / pick up times.
To reiterate, if members of the public wish to report any incidents, this must be done through the correct channel, by calling 101 or 999 or reporting via our website and NOT via social media or text / voicemail. Unfortunately we are unable to deal with crimes if not reported via the correct channel.
PC lee is currently still investigating the offences of affray, possession of a bladed article and supply of a controlled substance. This followed a report of a male in Verdin Park with a large knife.

PCSO surgeries
I will hold my surgery on Wednesday 20th October at 1pm. This will be held in the car park opposite Co-Op in Hartford. Please remember, if you are unable to attend, you can still get in touch via our residents voice survey via the following link or scanning the QR code.
